Upstream & Enhanced Oil Recovery
OOISS partners with global manufacturers to supply specialty chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, H2S scavenger, paraffin inhibitors, asphaltene inhibitors, emulsion breakers and foamers. Our offering is not just a one-size-fits-all solution but rather a tailored and cost effective solution which achieves better control of corrosion, reduced deposition. Ultimately our solutions lead to increased productivity and optimised system performance.
OOISS supplies and designs specialised surfactants chemicals for enhanced oil recovery. For example, using the Alkaline Surfactant Polymer (ASP) process, a very low concentration of the surfactant is used to achieve ultra low interfacial tension between the trapped oil and the injection fluid/formation water. All surfactants have been field tested and are proven to be effective and successful for EOR.
GAS TREATMENT CHEMICALS
OOISS’s global manufacturers provide Amines such as MDEA, MDEA with PIP blend, Activated MDEA, GT-Amine Blend, DEA, DIPA, MEA, and also Glycols such as Triethyelen Glycol, Di-Ethylene Glycol, Mono Ethylene Glycol. OOISS and technical partners provide amine system treatment used for the removal of sour or acid gas components such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S) or carbon dioxide (CO2) from gas, which is a common process requirement. Since numerous gas treating alternatives are available, the selection of the optimum treatment is based on factors such as gas composition, outlet gas specification, throughputs, process conditions, and many others.

FIELD TECHNICAL SUPPORT
OOISS Field Service Engineers (FSE) are academically qualified and have the required experience to provide sampling and analytical support to all oil / water / gas analysis activities. OOISS’s FSE is responsible for communicating, reporting, implementing effective production chemicals, gas treatment applications, water treatment applications operational programs, training and best practices for Quality, Health, Safety & Environment and for the elimination or reasonable reduction of toxic and hazardous materials.
OOISS’s in-house laboratory is able to analyse water, solvent and custom-made specialty products with water or solvent as a base. All basic physical and chemical parameters can be analysed in OOISS in-house laboratory, and if required we organised verification of the analysis by a 3rd party laboratory. OOISS has the capability to provide sample analysis and laboratory analytical services for Water, Oil & Gas Treatment applications. The facilities are home to our staff who are skilled in chemistry, metallurgical evaluation, research and development and engineering to enable a multifaceted service which is very important for problem solving. The services we offer include, but are not limited to, Elemental Analysis, Metallurgical Analysis, Spectroscopy, Separation, Chromatography, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Resin Analysis, Mass Spectrometry Scanning, Electron Microscopy Particle Analysis, Microbiological Analysis, Membrane Autopsy/Analysis and Deposit Analysis.
